- Total number of Child abuse & Neglect reports received 23, 939
- The number of children in out-of-home care decreased from 14,491 to 13,782.
- Majority of children in out-of-home care are from ages 6 to 9 years (19.%)
- The bulk of children in DCS out-of-home care are Caucasian (33.8%) & Hispanic (33.6%).
- 52.5% of children have a case plan for reunification.
- 27% of children in foster care have been in DCS out-of-home care for 13 to 24 months.
- 60.8% of families receive visitation with the goal of children returning home.
