How to Initiate Services

1. Initial Contact:
• You can initiate services through various means such as completing an online application, telephone conversation, email, or text message.

2. Communication and Information:
• The agency communicates with both parties via email, phone call, or text to provide general policy and procedure information verbally.

3. Online Application and Fee:
• Complete the online application if not done already.
• Pay the $95 administrative application/orientation fee invoice.

4. Submission of Court Documents:
• Participants need to email their relevant court documents to the agency.

5. Review of Court Documents:
• The agency reviews the court documents and any orders of protection applicable. If the family isn’t court-ordered for supervised parenting time, the agency collaborates with both parties to establish the best visitation schedule for the child.

6. Drafting Service Agreements:
• The agency drafts separate service agreements for the residential and nonresidential parents based on the documented court-ordered parenting plan (or participant agreement), agency availability, and emails these agreements to each party.

7. Orientation:
• Schedule a 30-45 minute orientation, which can be conducted in-person or virtually.
• Residential and non-residential orientations are completed separately.
• The facilitator explains all policies, procedures, and parental responsibilities. Participants have the chance to ask questions for clarification.

8. Signing Agreements:
• Both residential and non-residential participants sign their respective service agreements.

9. Payment Schedule:
• The agency sets a payment schedule and emails the financially responsible party.

10. Visitation Schedule:
• With input from all participants and considering the agency’s availability, the visitation schedule is determined and emailed to all parties.

11. Participant Responsibilities:
• Participants are responsible for adhering to the visitation schedule, providing updates to the agency, and complying with cancellation policies.

12. Supervised Parenting Time:
• The agency facilitates supervised parenting time, continuously monitoring (audibly and visually) interactions, and taking notes of observed behavior.

13. Reporting to Courts:
• Notes from supervised parenting time are directly sent to the courts. This can be according to the court’s request, a preferred schedule, or on a monthly basis (around 2 weeks after the end of the previous month).
